Personal Stylist Jen Hoad | Melbourne, Australia.
Services
I work with women and men. My clientele is generally 35+.
I am a local, and service the bayside areas of South Melbourne, Albert Park, Port Melbourne, Middle Park and the CBD.
(My prices are based on these areas. I can, however, quote for other parts of Melbourne)
Styling and Image
“Fashion is what you’re offered four times a year. Style is what you choose.” Lauren Hutton
We’ve all been there. Stood in front of a wardrobe bulging with clothes and unable to find a thing to wear. Waiting for the Style Fairy to appear and sort us out.
I can be your Style Fairy.
Styling services I offer include:
Style Consultation
Prior to going on a Personal Shopping experience, I like to conduct a Style Consultation.
I look at your personal style. Your personal style comes from within. We’ll discuss what you see as your style/what you would like your style to be; what you want from a shop; how best to enhance your body shape; what colours suit you. We will also look at your lifestyle and personality to get the whole picture of what makes up you.
This is also when we can discuss your budget for your Personal Shopping Experience – how much you wish to spend on your wardrobe items.
We will sit comfortably over a coffee and find out where you are at and where you would like to be.
Wardrobe Audit
This is the second stage of the full experience, but can also be offered as a stand alone service for those clients not wishing to shop.
We look at your wardrobe to turn confusion into calm.
Showing how to better use the items you already have (perhaps saving you money) and
identifying gaps in your wardrobe. Getting rid of items that aren’t working for you.
The wardrobe audit can be done the same day as the Style Consultation, or you may wish to do them on different days.
Personal Shopping Experience
The fun part! 2-3 hours of shopping.
Designed to suit your shopping budget and goals e.g. special occasion, seasonal dressing, corporate dressing, adding to your present wardrobe, a whole new wardrobe or just as a treat.
Wardrobe Integration
This is best done on a different day to the actual shop. The Shopping Experience can be exhausting – in a great way! Perhaps a week later, we can conduct a wardrobe integration. We will add your new purchases to your existing wardrobe, showing how the new pieces work with the old. This process can also involve creating a Look Book for your future reference. A Look Book consists of photos of options for outfits using your wardrobe items and accessories.
Packages entitle you to ongoing email support e.g. contact me with dilemmas you have about what to wear with what, about what accessories to wear for a specific occasion.
I can also suggest hair and makeup businesses that I personally know or have used.
I do not receive commissions from any business I may refer you to, nor any retail outlet we may shop in.
